Dear Swim Team Families,

This week some of our swimmers have just finished school and the last group of Barracudas will be joining practices this week! Please introduce yourselves to each other if you see some new faces at practice tomorrow.

This week we have our first two meets. We kick off our meet season on Tuesday by hosting a team called "C.O.R.E." which is made up of some of the swimmers who used to swim for the Phoenix team. On Thursday we travel to Newtown Crossing which is a friendly team with a neighborhood pool which feels a lot like our pool.

We still need a few jobs filled for the meets this week:

TUESDAY: We need an announcer and a lane monitor.

THURSDAY: One timing slot is open.

For swimmers who missed the chance to tie-dye their team shirts during the Pep Rally we will have tie-dying set up this Friday during the fun practice (if weather allows) and I will be there until 11:30 to help with the process. 

Swimathon is coming up soon and pledge sheets will come home with swimmers this week. This is our biggest fundraiser every year and is a really fun event with prizes the day of as well as great end of year prizes for category winners.
