Dear Barracudas Families,

I apologize for the miscommunication earlier. We recently received the final line-up for the Champs meets and as of now both the Blue Division Championships (age 11 and older on Saturday the 28th of July at Oxford Valley Pool) and the 10 & Under Championships (10 & under on Sunday July 29th at Richboro Swim Club) are open for sign-ups.

Please note that this year the Sunday Champs are age 10 and under rather than age 8 and under!!!

For those new to summer swim team these meets are optional, but fun. There are ribbons and a festive atmosphere. You and your children choose which individual events to swim (up to 3 events) and the coaches select the relays (maximum of 1 per swimmer) from available swimmers. The fee per event swum is $4 and the team will pay the relay fees. The highest scorers of the Division Champs (so only a subset of those swimmers age 11 and older) move on to the League Championships which are planned for the evening of July 31st. If your child chooses to do Champs we may ask you to help time, or some other straightforward volunteer job. Usually we only have to provide a few timers or place judges. The evening of July 29th we will have our team end-of-season picnic with cake, Swimathon prizes and coaches' awards.

This week we have two of our last three dual meets, starting with our hosting of Somerton Swim Team on Tuesday the 17th. If you haven't signed your swimmer in or out please do that asap! Also, please confirm your volunteer commitments for both the 17th and the 19th.
