Senior Night at Our Home Meet Tuesday July 19

Home meet on Tuesday against Newtown Crossing. At 6:30 we will honor our senior swimmers! We’re asking all swimmers to arrive at 5:15, warmup at 5:45, and our Senior Awards will start at 6:30, followed by the meet at 6:45. Details are on the Swim Meets page. Please sign your swimmer in or out by Monday. (We realized it’s so much easier for the coaches when everyone signs in OR out, so thank you for doing that!) Please also sign up for a job at the meet.

Champs

Champs can be a little confusing at first. Let us know if you have any questions; ask the coaches if you have questions about what events your swimmers should enter.

Swimmers get to choose their own events for champs. Each individual event is $5; coaches choose relays and the fees are paid by the team. You may pay online on Swimtopia or give Kristin a check.

Note that the starting time may change after the meet organizers receive all the entries and see what time the meet needs to start.

I need all champs entries by Thursday July 21. I will be away and will send them to the league on their due date (Friday morning); no late entries will be accepted.

Ages 11-18: Division Champs Saturday July 30

This is Divisional Champs for age groups 18 & under, 14 & under, and 12 & under. It is also League Prelims; the top 16 swimmers in each event, in each division go on to swim in League Finals on July 31 in the evening at LMT.

LMT: 1050 Edgewood Road, Yardley, PA 19067. Estimated start time: 8:15 am.

Ages 10 and Under League Champs July 31

This is League Champs for age groups 8 & under and 10 & under. Warrington Swim Club: 2501 Freedoms Way, Warrington, PA 18976. Estimated start time: 7:30 am.

Swim-a-Thon $$

Our swimmers were so impressive at the swim-a-thon this week! Please have your swimmers give Linden Swim-a-Thon $$ by Friday July 22.

End of Season Party

We are planning our End-of-Season party for Monday, August 1. Bring a picnic dinner and come for awards, champs medals and trophies, and of course cake. Tentative time: 5pm.

A note about the date: The league changed champs league finals this year from Tuesday evening to Sunday evening in an effort to finish the season before August. This is great, but means that we have to have our party on Monday August 1. We hope everyone can make it!
